Terms of service
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Ka Yee Chan, a sole proprietor based in California, USA, who operates Krello (“we”, “us”). By using Krello, you agree to them. If you use Krello for an organisation, you agree to them on its behalf. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Krello
Krello is an app for planning your days: tasks, a calendar, routines and a coach, and, in Krello Pro, chats, video calls, docs and projects for a team. It runs in your browser at app.trykrello.com.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older to use Krello.
- You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account safe: you’re responsible for what happens in Krello under your account.
- If you think someone else has got into your account, tell us straight away.
Your free trial
Each account gets one 10-day free trial, which starts when your first workspace is made. How many workspaces you can make during the trial is limited. If you add a card during the trial, nothing is charged until it ends. When it ends, each workspace you own needs paying for, or it becomes read-only.
Price and payment
- Each workspace costs a weekly price for each person on it, you included. The price is the one on our pages, for Krello and Krello Pro, and shown when you subscribe.
- You pay for the workspaces you own. The people you add to them pay nothing.
- You’re charged once a week, in advance, for all your workspaces together, until you pause billing for them or delete them.
- Anything added during a week, a workspace or a person, is charged for the rest of that week on your next payment. Someone removed comes off from the next week: nothing is taken off the week already paid.
- If we change a price, we’ll tell you before the new price applies to you.
Link sells your subscription
Purchases are processed and sold through Link, the merchant of record: Link sells you the subscription, charges your card, sends your receipts, and handles sales tax and VAT. Your bank statement shows LINK.COM*. Link’s own terms apply to the payment. You can also manage your subscription on Link’s website.
Pausing, read-only and refunds
- You can pause billing for any workspace you own, in Billing in the account menu. Pausing stops its next payment: the workspace stays as it is until the end of the week you’ve paid for.
- Nothing is credited or refunded for that week. If you start billing again before it ends, nothing more is charged.
- After your trial, a paused workspace whose week is over is read-only, as is an unpaid one, including one whose payments keep failing: everyone on it can still open it and read everything in it, but nothing new can be added or changed. Nothing in it is deleted. Start billing again to pick up where you left off.
- Deleting a workspace ends its billing at once, with nothing credited, and deletes everything in it for everyone on it.
- We don’t give refunds, except where the law requires them.
Using Krello fairly
Don’t use Krello to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- harass, threaten or harm anyone, or pretend to be someone you’re not;
- share anything you don’t have the right to share;
- send spam, or upload anything harmful, such as viruses;
- get into accounts or workspaces that aren’t yours, or test, attack or overload Krello;
- copy, scrape or resell Krello.
Your content
What you put in Krello is yours. You let us store, copy, process and show it, only as needed to run Krello for you and the people you share it with, including sending parts of it to the AI providers that power the coach. You’re responsible for what you put in Krello, and for having the right to put it there. We may remove anything that breaks these terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.
Shared and public workspaces
Everyone on a workspace sees what’s in it and can work in it. Its owner decides who is on it and pays for it. Only we can make a workspace public, and we do it only for our own demo workspace: anyone signed in to Krello can read it.
The coach and AI
The coach’s notes are written partly by AI. They can be wrong, or not fit your situation. They aren’t medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and Krello isn’t a medical service.
If you record a call or turn on meeting notes, you’re responsible for telling the people on it and getting their consent where the law requires it (California and many other places require everyone’s). Meeting notes are written by AI and can be wrong.
Changes
Krello changes: we may add, change or remove features. We may also update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top, and if a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Using Krello after that means you accept the new terms.
Ending
You can stop whenever you like: pause billing, delete your workspaces, and email us to delete your account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or to protect Krello or other people, and we’ll tell you when we can. The parts of these terms that by their nature should last after that, such as the disclaimers and limits below, still apply.
Disclaimers
Krello is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that nothing will be lost, so keep your own copy of anything important. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Krello is limited to the greater of what you paid for Krello in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. You agree to cover us for claims that come from your content or from your breaking these terms. Some places don’t allow these limits; there, they apply only as far as the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in California. Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
General
These terms, with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Krello. If part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part isn’t giving it up. You can’t transfer these terms to someone else; we can, if Krello is transferred.
